The Area

Woodside is ideally placed to explore Sussex especially East Sussex!

We are located in the centre of a triangle between the historic towns of Rye, Battle and Hastings so that visiting the many attractions in the area should not prove to be any sort of problem!

If you like to spend your days exploring the towns then there are plenty to see. Likewise there are many historic castles and gardens in this area.

However, if you prefer to sit on the beach or play golf then we are extremely well situated for both activities and can provide much information to assist you in planning your holiday.

  Activities in Woodside

We have 5 acres of land at Woodside so that there is plenty of room to wander around the gardens and make friends with our sheep. There are also some woods and a stream to explore. We sometimes have falconry displays by Colin Breck

Example price:

For a family or group of 4 people :

Individual half an hour Hawk Walk in our Woodlands £20*

One hour Hawk walk £40 solo group or £30 per group for more than one group

* Half hour walks are subject to a minimum of two different group bookings on the same morning or afternoon

  Walking, Cycling & Riding

We have 5 acres of woodland here at Woodside, so you are welcome to venture out on foot.  Locally there are a number of footpaths, cycle & bridal paths.

The area has numerous places of interest to visit.  Brochures and information leaflets are to be found in the guest's lounge.

If you see somewhere that interests you, please feel free to use the PC to do some research and print out any literature and maps that will assist you in having a pleasurable day out.
